Supporting healthcare workers in Ukraine

Providing crucial Medical Supplies and Equipment

The ongoing war in Ukraine has severely affected hospitals’ ability to care for patients due to disruptions in supplies, medications and equipment. IMR partnered with doctors and personnel in hospitals in Eastern Ukraine to purchase and send a pediatric dialysis machine, among other crucially needed medical supplies. Our partners were beyond grateful and are now able to provide life-saving treatment to their pediatric patients. Our efforts to provide needed supplies continues.

partnerships with medical schools, health clinics, and local programs

IMR has been collaborating with a medical school in Uzhorrod to teach junior doctors and medical students basic emergency and primary care skills with didactics and hands on training. In addition, we are partnering with local NGOs that provides gynecologic care to survivors of sexual violence in the war.
